About Tina and
Tina's Barnyard Studio!

With a lifelong passion for all things creative, my journey in the world of crafting has been a continuous and joyful one. For over 30 years, I've had the pleasure of sharing my love for crafting with others—first by teaching Tole painting for 15 years, and later, by guiding students in the intricate and delightful world of papercrafting for another 15. My enthusiasm for creating is matched only by my love for teaching and connecting with others. My classes and retreats are known for being fun, energetic, and inspiring, providing a welcoming space for crafters of all skill levels to explore their creativity.

Beyond teaching, I've also poured my heart into organizing crafting retreats, fostering a vibrant community where friendships are forged over shared projects and laughter. While I enjoy all kinds of crafts, from crochet to painting, cardmaking holds a special place in my heart. The ability to create a tiny piece of art that can bring so much joy to someone else is a truly rewarding experience.

My life on a dairy farm, helping my husband for 25 years, taught me the value of hard work and dedication. It was a dream of mine for many years to have my own space to share with others, and two years ago, that dream became a reality. My studio, with its true country feel, is a warm and inviting sanctuary where I love to welcome fellow crafters. Though my husband is no longer with us, his memory lives on in this space, a testament to a life well-lived and a love of bringing beautiful things into the world. I'm excited to continue this journey and share my passion with you.
